With one week left of regular season, I'm looking at the playoff brackets and if playoffs started now Chardon, Mayfield, and Riverside would be looking at possible bye weeks as seeded teams. Do you think it's possible schools will pick up games to play in that first round bye with other schools also taking a bye for playoffs? I checked OHSAA for 2020 playoff rules and I don't see anything stating they cannot.

Not sure a coach wants to take a chance on injuries in a meaningless game during a bye week.
