What are you SWO posters doing to prepare for the dirty water?

While this highly publicized incident doesn't appear to have struck the Cincinnati metro yet, this issue got me thinking.... Is being downstream from West Virginia and Pittsburgh why SWO residents are an inferior species to those of us in NEO?

I'm not happy that my watershed is downstream from Detroit and Canada, but looking at the alternatives to the south, I am feeling grateful tonight.

Lol your water shed heads north to Erie. It is likely your drinking water shed from somewhere near Columbus.

Your mention of a city outside of the holy waters reminds me about the treaty signed by governments in the 8 US states and 2 Canadian Provinces in the Great Lakes Basin outlawing any export of our fresh water to unholy municipalities outside the holy lands.

The news said that Cincy was closing 2 inlet pipes from the Ohio River
until thge chemicals pass.

Reportedly ...
The storage facility owned by Freedom Industries Inc. on the banks of the Elk River was subject to almost no state and local monitoring, interviews and records show. A state regulator had said earlier that, before last week's spill, environmental inspectors hadn't visited the site since 1991. The state (WV) said it had located another inspection from 2002 related to a remediation project done by the site's previous owner.

The dilution rate of pollutants by clean water entering on the Canadian side has to be enormous. Then we've got all those zebra mussels filtering it.

Not only are you guys drinking the effluent of Pittsburg and Stuebenville, but also every failing hillbilly septic system upstream. Nasty. I wouldn't even want to wash my socks in the filtered version of that. FWK may have flushed upstream. I'd drill a well tomorrow.

NEO > SWO

Well, no RIVERS HAVE CAUGHT FIRE, there have been NO EARTHQUAKES, due to POISONOUS CHEMICAL LADEN WATER being pumped into the earth from FRACKING and athletes down here are not constantly ravaged by STAPH INFECTIONS like up there . . so in comparison it's not too bad down here.
