Weekdays School Softball - Weekends Travel Softball?

Read somewhere that other states allow school and travel to be played at the same time. School ball is played during the week and travel ball is played on the weekends. Would this work in Ohio to extend the season another week or two and get alot more HS games in? If "weekend" meant Saturday/Sunday, then HS softball would only lose one day for most teams since Sunday is mostly a dark day for HS softball.

No...travel ball coaches already think they are a priority over HS ball. Every HS sport has their time and have to follow state and NFHS rules and all these AAU and travel teams do as they please and can wait.
