What are you thoughts and predictions for the game???

I wouldn't say that much Mooney is 0-3 but have played all 3-0 teams losing 14-0 to Lake Catholic 38-7 to CLE VASJ and 31-21 to Stuebenville
 
Garaway will have their hands full. Could actually be the toughest game on their schedule. A win by Garaway here wouldn't surprise me, but a loss wouldn't either. Should be a hard fought very close game.
 
Gonna come down to Mooney keeping their QB clean, if they don’t then I can see it going the other way. I expect a good game either way

I'm not saying they aren't a tough team I just don't think they are a state championship caliber team like that have been in the past. They will actually be lucky to make it into the playoffs but that is due to their very tough schedule.
 
If Garaway struggles or loses to Mooney then region 17 will be between the 3 NE8 schools lakeview, Poland, South Range

I think Mooney is Garaway’s litmus test. By no means should a loss or close contest with them be discouraging for their region 17 chances. Mooney has played top tier competition. Garaway has seen nothing even remotely in the neighborhood of Mooney’s schedule. Don’t get me wrong, Garaway certainly can win this game, but Mooney is better than their record indicates. I watched the Big Red game on YSN and thought they competed pretty well.

Mooney just doesn’t seem to find their footing on offense, they don’t run the ball well and the QB shuts down under pressure, noticed teams start blitzing heavy in the second half. The team Garaway will have to worry about is SR the other 2 need to prove themselves first
 
Garaway is just solid, consistent, and well-coached. If you can't defend or score on them, they are generally up 2 or 3 scores in the first qtr. W Muskingum challenged and played with them the whole game last week. I'm hopeful that has helped the Pirates as they prepare this week.

Would love to see any win for the Way.

Mooney is just built a little different than the teams Garaway usually plays. Really good challenge for the Pirates. Win or lose, I think this game will help them in Nov.
 
So far, so good. Gway up 14- zip. Playing very, very well on both sides of the ball.

Still 14-0 at half.

Mooney with 15 penalties for 115 yards in the first half. Wow.

Gaŕaway punts on 2nd possession of 3rd Qtr --> returned for TD. Missed xp. 14-13.

That must have been some arse chewing Mooney got at half.
