I am at a loss to understand why official scorers still use paper and pencil when the software is available to score a game using a laptop or tablet. If OHSAA mandated the use of such technology the results and box score could be uploaded to OHSAA, MaxPreps or whoever immediately following a game.
I watched a game being scored on MaxPreps using a phone the other day and then at another venue a manager was scoring on a tablet using software. It is pretty easy and the math is great!.
I receive an a complete OSU box score immeadiatley following the game. High Schools could do the same.
What do you think?
