Final Comments:
Strengths: We have the ability to play fast. What we lack in height, we make up for in speed. We just need to fine tune our ball handling skills. The girls have really been buying into all concepts, and we are looking to be very aggressive on defense, so as to have that spark our offense.

Goals and expectations: We are on a two year plan. We are rebuilding this season after losing the LeVan’s. We only have one senior, and so we know that this year and next, we are essentially the same team. We have spent a lot of time on defense and it is always our number one priority. But we are also going to have to go back to basics on a lot of skills.

General Comments: We are going to try to have a JV team this season. We are just not sure what till will look like quite yet. We have only had two scrimmages so far, so I did not feel comfortable deciding yet on who would go where. We also have a large freshman class and some girls that have never played basketball before, so we do have some that are still learning the game. We are very young, and like I mentioned before, we are looking at this as a two year rebuild. We are installing basics and concepts now, to perfect by January and into next season. I will be leaning on my letter winners a lot this year to be leaders and really step up their game.
