The Pro Football Hall of Fame Expansion Project Hits the Skids

I'm thinking they can have a Hall of Hall of Famers like the Disney Hall of Presidents-

That’s great. From the guy who went from “the Disney stuff is media sensationalism, no one from the project has even mentioned Disney”...Neo quotes the developers comments comparing it to Disney....to “they don’t mean Disney literally”.

It still is media sensationalism. No one honestly thinks they mean Disney literally. The only reason to talk about it as if that were the case is if one is wanting article clicks or to put down the project. The latter is clearly the case ITT.

The article said it was for HOFers. Do you have a link that outlines the criteria?

PLAYER CARE CENTER

The cutting-edge Player Care Center will provide a wide range of health services and also include LEGENDS LANDING, a football themed, 143-bed independent living, assisted living and memory care active senior care facility for retired Hall of Famers and members of the NFL’s Legends Community along with coaches, officials and administrators.

Current design plans call for a 15-bed surgical hospital, 20-bed behavioral science & addiction center and possible memorial.

The memorial is the best part. Come see which old, broke, drug-addicted NFL players died here! What an attraction.

An acquaintance used to golf in a benefit outing every year to help pay the medical expenses of the busted up old former players. He said that the hobbled old guys that were able to play were pretty sad, but there were a few that attended in wheel chairs were far worse off. Even many of the guys that played up into the 1970s didn't really make much, and the owners did nothing for them until the CBA made them.

The facilities you guys mock would not be exciting for us, but could have improved some lives. Probably 20-30 years too late, though, honestly.
