I like Cincinnati better when Withrow is competitive.

Princeton(14) v. Lakota West (10)

When I first saw West at the start of the season I felt like they had a ton of talent, but due to them being so green, the next few years would be when they shine, not this one. I'm now drinking the West kool-aid. This should be a later round game though, at least a sectional championship.

South 3:

Walnut Hills(31) v. Moeller(1)

Moeller will be in playoff form. Some say it will be competitve, but I think Moeller is going to be rolling folks for a few rounds.

Anderson(12) v. Little Miami(11)

Not a particular fan of either team, but someone must win. I feel like LM felt like they won the superbowl last round. Anderson will gound them.

South 5:

Turpin(25) v. Winton Woods(3)

Maybe I'm the outsider, but I don't have much faith in Winton Woods. Maybe Turpin pulls off the upset, but I think WW will move past this game by 10+. We will save the WW letdown for later.

Middletown(9) v. Western Hills(8)

They didn't play Claxton or Austin for the entire 1st quarter and I was ready to write it off as having to play on skeleton crew, but then they came out for the 2nd. So yeah, IDK what the staff is thinking with that one.

(Adding on: then they came out and played a competitive 2nd quarter with their actual starters that have been working all year. Crazy how that works!)

If they didn’t play the 1st quarter, my guess is that was a mini-suspension for being late for practice or something. Good on the coach for keeping standards that need to be met.

That still doesn't answer why they only have 6 players. Not including the Henry's, they still had 12 different players who recorded stats this year listed on the CMAC website. Something else is going on.

Withrow only played 5 against Walnut when they played on Feb. 10th (and it kinda cost them the game).
 
Refs are losing control of this Princeton-Lakota West game. Instead of making literally any attempt to separate players after hard fouls, they let talking happen and have now given technicals to both Curry and Lugo (both teams' best players). Unacceptable officiating for a tournament game.
 
Thought Anderson really screwed up the end of the game there. Knowing Little Miami had only 2 team fouls, their best path to victory was getting a steal down 2 instead of committing a foul. Besides that, Little Miami kept retreating into the back court after the side-out and they were at 8 seconds on the 10-second count virtually under their own basket. Once they committed the foul, one foul shot ends the game.

For all that Burnam did in getting Anderson Football to the D2 Final 4, he played about as bad as he possibly could have in that game.
 
See anything on the Middletown-Western Hills final? I'm going to guess since the Western Hills twitter account went silent that they lost. For as big of a program as Middletown is, they have shockingly no social media presence.
