Wow, we're already getting into the halfway point of the regular season! I've noticed quite a few times this season when contestants have accidentally skipped over games, or at times even put two choices for one game.
I decided to try a change to the format on how we place our picks, and I think this could help. I've found that using a number system makes it a lot more efficient when I'm counting everyone's picks. So instead of using the "X" method of choosing the picks, I decided to use the Favorite = 1 and the Underdog = 2 method for posting our picks.
Below, I have an example of how this will work. On the heading column, it shows "Pick" on the far left. This is the column you would place your pick.
If your choice is the favorite St. Xavier, then you would put the number 1 in that position:
Pick, Favorite(1), Points, Underdog(2)
_1___-ST XAVIER 4.5 Elder
If you decide to choose the underdog Elder, then you would put the number 2 in that position:
Pick, Favorite(1), Points, Underdog(2)
__2__-ST XAVIER 4.5 Elder
I'll be posting my picks soon, and you can see how I posted them using this new posting method. A pick for the favorite, put the number 1 in that position. Or if you pick the underdog, then put in the number 2. You can edit your picks, just make sure that your edit time doesn't go past the deadline time. Thanks
