Several of these matchups are rematches from the regular season. Here's how a few of those went:

St Edward def. Hilliard Davidson 25-23, 25-21, 19-25, 22-25, 15-11
Hilliard Darby def. St Ignatius 26-24, 25-20, 25-13

Bishop Watterson def. Walsh Jesuit 19-25, 25-17, 25-18
Archbishop Alter def. Archbishop McNicholas 25-15, 25-16, 25-16

Watterson vs Alter final in D2 with Alter pulling the upset? Watterson relies too heavily on few players.
Xavier vs Elder final and this time Elder figures the Bombers out and the take home the hardware.

I don't think Davidson has the height to compete with Ed's. I saw them first play and Ed's middles just had their way with this team. They couldn't get a solid block established. Elder has too much skill volleyball wise for either of these teams though, so that won't matter much. I see this happening:

Northmont imploded with the game at 16-14 and X dominated after the timeout. Bolts leading so far through game 3.
 
East led 11-8, but Elder goes on a 10-1 run and wins Game 1 over East 25-18, early Game 2, East up 7-6.

Darby jumped out to 8-2 lead which was the last action I saw. Looks like they cruised to the 3-set victory: 25-15, 25-16, 25-13
 
After Eds leads nearly the entire match Davidson takes the lead 21-20 and steals Game 1, 26-24. Lots of missed serves in that first set by both teams. At one point Eds missed 5 of 6 serves and Davidson missed 3 of 5. Looks to be the most competitive match of the day so far.

All Division I Quarterfinal matches are in the books:

Quarterfinals:
St Xavier def. Northmont 25-21, 25-15, 22-25, 26-24 - Bolts gave X all they can handle, POY Kerlin had 20+ kills.
Elder def. Lakota East 25-18, 25-23, 25-13 - East gave E a scare in game 2, but Elder was in control all the way.
Hilliard Darby def. St Ignatius 25-15, 25-16, 25-13 - Darby dismantles Ignatius with quick starts and big leads in each set.
Hilliard Davidson def. St Edward 26-24, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22 - HD ran a quick offense and didn't make as many mistakes as Eds. Lots of missed serves in this one though.

We'll have an all South-East Semifinal in DI:
