Stadiums visible from an interstate/highway?

Wondering if y’all are like me and rubberneck like a tourist every time you pass a stadium on the highway. I know in Cincinnati you can see Princeton and Lakota East from I-75 and you can see Walnut Hills and CHCA from I-71. If the leaves have fallen, you can see the new Sycamore from 275.

You ever pass a stadium on a road trip and look up who the best player was that came through that school?

I don't know if I've ever looked up a player, but I 100% rubberneck it wherever I go not matter how many times I drive by it. In the Dayton area, Northridge, West Carrollton, CJ, Stebbins, and Troy Christian are all visible from the highway (I might be forgetting 1-2). In NW Ohio, Perrysburg sits right on 75. When I travel out of state and see a stadium, I look up the school just to see if they're good or not or something like that. Love looking at pics of stadiums and stuff like that.

Bridgeport is visible from 70 going west. Not as noticeable without the roof I don't think but it's been a while since I've been through that area.

Liberty is barely visible from 80. But basically just the lights.

Hudson is visible from the turnpike.

There's one off I280 in Toledo. I think it's Perrysburg but not sure. It's Northwood.

on ohio route 7. in belmont county
martins ferry

in jefferson county
buckeye local
If you're counting Route 7 in Martins Ferry where it's just a main road and not a freeway then also East Liverpool is right there near the us30/oh7 interchange. But only really visible from 7.

Youngstown Liberty is visible from I-80, especially heading west. YSU, home of Ursuline, is visible from a few different highways.

Been on I-280 a lot and never noticed you can see Lake from the freeway. It's tough but if you look you can see it. Not sure how I never noticed except you're nearing the end of the highway soon and just never looked that way.

Perrysburg (I-75). Yeah, it's been a long time since I've ever been on that road but that's one of the most obvious examples for this question.

I was trying to remember one somewhere west of Cleveland but couldn't remember what freeway it was on. So it took a while to find. But if you're going east on the turnpike you can very briefly see Olmsted Falls.

There's a couple of one that look like they'd be possible but either embankments or trees keep the view impossible, but here's Elyria Catholic, Rocky River, and Brecksville-Broadview Hts right by a freeway but impossible to see.

And lastly, google maps of the two obvious examples I overlooked, Akron Archbishop Hoban and Canton McKinley:

If you want to include OH7 from East Liverpool through Bellaire where it's a mix of four-lane freeway and four-lane arterial (some intersections or crossroads but no stopping and otherwise like a freeway) and boulevard through towns (such as East Liverpool, Steubenville and Martins Ferry where there's lights), there's a handful.

First, between East Liverpool and Steubenville you have:

East Liverpool:

Wellsville (mostly only the lights visible briefly going north), I seem to remember seeing part of the stadium years ago, but the google map historical photos show the stadium visible):

From 2016:

Toronto is only visible for the lights:

South of Steubenville the freeway mostly returns from Mingo to Martins Ferry. Along the way you can see Buckeye Local:

You can also, usually going north, see the old Brilliant/Buckeye North field, though the stands were torn down at some point:

But back in 2018 you see this:

And a previous stop of mine:

Once the freeway ends, you see Martins Ferry to the east:

South of Martins Ferry the freeway briefly returns until Shadyside. Along the way you can barely see Nelson Field in Bellaire:

The blueish/white goalpost is the stadium's:

And the back of the visitor stand:

Across the highway you can see the old Field of Dreams for Bellaire St. John Central:

If you're not sure what you're looking at, here's what it used to look like:

It's cool that the old pressbox still stands.

Also, from OH7 you can see two West Virginia 'stadiums':

One old one in Wellsburg, an ancient field situated behind the old school and the river:

And if you look quick you can see the Wheeling Island Stadium visitor stand towering above the racino parking lot:

Also in the area, here's Bridgeport's Perkins Field; current view:

And the old stadium with roof:

Was a great place to see a game:
