This was kind of my point. I know plenty of bookies. I know plenty of gambling addicts. Giving these people an easier way to get their fix is not a great thing IMO but I guess they will find it nonetheless. I simply wonder how many people never had access to a bookie who are now taking advantage of the one at their fingertips.I’m not hugely anti gambling. However, like drugs, alcohol, porn…it’s a vice. It’s dangerous to your moral and economic well-being and should be approached with caution.
If you have responsibility to a spouse and children, you should watch out.
It‘s of no interest to me. I grew up in a house where money wasn’t an issue, nor was money worshipped. I think I was well-served by that. No big “zing” for me when money is “on the line”.
