Pouring purple Website has it as a Friday Night Oct. 9th game. 7pm Start , but it could be wrong. Thats along way for a NY school to come to play on a Friday.
Last year, they played Dover on a Friday night. In 2016, they played Toledo Central Catholic on a Friday night. Suprising, but not unheard of for this team.

Sandusky St. Mary will announce this week whether it will be 8-man or 11-man for them. This could have further league implications if they drop 11-man.

Not official but it appears Lakewood Lancers will host Columbus West in week 2. I believe this is the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Butler Area (Pa) looks to go independent starting this season. Butler is a little over an hour east of Youngstown.
Would be a good pick up for many schools.

Here's the links:

Butler is playing a district 10 schedule this year so what days they're open is going to be limited. They're also a really, REALLY, bad team. Why they dropped out of the WPIAL.

They are the 3rd largest school in the WPIAL, but are on a 20 game losing streak and have only won 41 games in the last 20 years. Despite their size they're out on an island and for years their closest opponents their size are around Pittsburgh.
