Why would gwoc look overrated? Besides springboro gwoc teams have only beat each other. Springfield beat a occ team, centerville beat a occ team. Springboro went 1-1 in playoffs vs gmc

Yeah I don’t get that comment, either. Gwoc’s record this year vs non-conf was very good. Add Wayne and Northmont to the “beating an OCC list as well. Boro gave away the Elder game. Cville beat GMC and Gahanna Lincoln (their only loss) and 2 other OCC teams. Gwoc beat each other up this year. I’d love to see more GWOC vs GCL games, though.

If the best team from the gwoc gets beat by an average OCC team it makes the league look weak. It Doesn’t matter what happened in the regular season or the playoffs. If the best team gets beat, at face value people will think hell if that’s the best the rest of the league must have been terrible. Lots of people already think the league is overrated. Just more ammo if SHS loses.

OL isn't an average OCC team, I can only think of two maybe three other OCC teams that would be favored against them out of 32 right now.

Moeller struggled with Mason lastnight so lets not act like they are unbeatable. Moeller will have to do more than just run the ball right at SHS. Especially if SHS gets up early. Anything can happen in that final 4.
Didn't follow the game did you? Moeller pulled their starters in the 2nd quarter.

Nice field terrible setup. If you have never been back half faces a highway turns into a wind tunnel. Was really hoping Marysville or Bradley took this game
Current game time forecast: 27° with 13 mph winds from west. Winds may change, but it's gonna be a cold one.

Springfield is a talented team. Will beat OL easily. But they are out matched the next game. If the play Moeller then Moeller will just run the ball down their throat. Springfield struggles against the run. And west defense way to tough for Springfield.
Based off of what? You say that like Springfield offense don’t practice against one of the best defenses all year. And has West or Moeller played a team with an Offense like Springfield? The game is played for a reason.

3-2 in conference third place seems average to me. Two of those wins were against teams with losing records. Didn’t they give the one olentangy team their only win?

They played by far the most difficult schedule in their league. Drew Pasteur has them as the 5th best OCC team, and they played against the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th best teams (out of 32) in their league, winning against the 3rd and 4th. One of the teams they beat is playing for the R3 championship.

Drew has them tied for the 5th toughest strength of schedule in D1 when you factor in non-league games with St. X and Glenville. They had one bad loss to Orange and a very pedestrian record, but they are much closer to the top-tier of the OCC than the middle.

Liberty has been a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde team this year but always seems to improve by the time the playoffs arrive. The got beat 42 to 0 by Pickerington North first game of the year. The beat up a good New Albany team 27 to 0 but get beat by a really bad Olentangy Orange team 23 to 7. That was hard to figure out but it was a weak year in Central Ohio this year with the exception of Gahanna Lincoln. If Springfield does not turn it over a bunch they should roll in this one.

SHS has really limited turnovers and sacks lately. And they're converting at least 50% on 3rd n 4th downs. Only way they lose is if they unexpectedly have an uncharacteristically bad night. Or, God forbid, Schondelmyer has a season ending injury.
