Quandry - To include, or not to include, that is the question (Ohio Top-50 lists (boys))

I'm finalizing the all-time boys top-50 t&f lists this week for submission to this board and elsewhere. At the top of each list is I'm including National HS, Federation, Ohio records, along with OHSAA & Ohio D1,D2,D3 records (where different from each other). Also, Class Records (Sr, Jr, So, Fr) are near the top of the lists.

As such, I've just looked at the National & Federation records. This year, a US-born foreign athlete, Issamade Asinga of Surinam, has been lighting up the track with sub-10 and sub-20 second performances this spring & summer. Normally, those would be counted by T&F News as National Records, especially the 19.97 Asinga ran back in late April.

However, I just found out Asinga has been provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit for a banned substance. I don't know how T&F News or NFHS is going to handle this. I am going to check with Jack Shepard @ T&F News myself to get his thoughts, but I'm curious...

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

Not sure what you mean by “ a US-born foreign athlete”. Is that a US citizen competing for another country’s national team? If not, what makes them foreign?

Asinga was born in Atlanta; however, he's been representing his father's country, Surinam (his dad was Lympic runner Tommy Asinga - late 80s-early 90s), but he was raised in his mother's country, Zambia. U.S. citizen by birth, but definitely raised elsewhere, only attending U.S. HS.
