anyone know which is easier to get tickets for a buckeye game? have a good friend who lives in indiana and we want to take the kids and meet up for the weekend. i'm guessing indiana, i think the last time the bucks played there i saw empty seats(and about 20,000 buckeye fans).

if you know, please advise...

I've never been to either stadium, but the logical choice is Indiana. I don't think half of that campus even knows that they have a football team.

Indiana is a very easy ticket but not a good Big 10 football atmoshpere though, reminds me more of a low level ACC stadium like Wake Forest or Duke.

There are tickets to be had at Purdue, you will probably have to pay face and do them in advance for the tOSU game though, but it gives you a much better game day experience. You could be sitting in the end zone but the stadium is cool and they have some traditions that give you a feel for a Saturday in the Midwest that the kids will remember for a long time.

You can have this

Or you can have that

Purdue definitely has some good traditions, largest drum, largest band, largest girl in black. I don't recall the stadium being particularly impressive. Steel girders and aluminum as I recall. Nothing like the feeling of game day one gets walking up to Ohio Stadium or the Big House. Maybe they've remodeled, it's been awhile.

Don't forget that Indiana plays the Buckeyes in Columbus this year.

Ohio State plays Purdue in West Lafayette this year, though.

You'll pay $124 for the cheap seats on StubHub.

It's hilarious at the difference in ticket price for the Ohio State & Notre Dame games versus everyone else on their schedule.

As an interesting side note, tickets for the Nebraska/Ohio State game are going for more than the Ohio State/Michigan game.
