Pat Galbincea passed away

PD will have feature on Pat in Sundays paper--- many kind words are pouring in for him. Pat knew a lot of people, coaches, wrestlers. He was THE go-to writer in Clevelands Golden Wrestling Era. Always was upbeat, always had a story or ancedote, like to tell funny stories, gifted writer, keen observer, great historian, loved the sport. Will miss him.

Pat was a great guy who always loved to sit and talk wrestling with parents and fans alike to get their opinions. Great for wrestling and will be missed

RIP Pat.

Pat Galbincea, wrestling writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper who earned numerous honors over his 45-year career, died Friday afternoon at his home in Rocky River, Ohio just outside Cleveland from a stroke. He was 72.
