This was a tight, physical game for the most part with Ohio State (15-6, 8-4 Big) looking just good enough to post the eleven-point win on the road over the Wolverines (13-10, 7-6 Conf). The win might have been a little unexpected, with Michigan just pounding #3 Purdue, while the Buckeyes lost to a very hot Rutgers team. Ohio State hit 50% of their shots from the floor in this one with Michigan hitting 41.4%. Future NBA player EJ Liddell (Belleville, IL) led the way in the win with game-high 28 points. He also had 5 rebounds and 3 big blocks. Coming off of the bench to get 12 points for the winners was Cedric Russell (Alexandria, LA). The Buckeyes had 28 rebounds whereas Michigan totaled 32. For the losing team, Eli Brooks (Spring Grove, PA) led the way with 17 points, 4 boards, and 5 assists. Overall Michigan had a 16-6 advantage when it came to assist.
