Good plug & play for Nickel. ND has done a good job in the portal filling “smaller” gaps in the roster with productive players like JJB at SDE, Ford as the 4th RB & Special Teams, and Harper as Nickel.

That’s a big pick up. If they get Beaux Collins & Josh Kelly, that’s an upgrade for this yr. Depth is still an issue after the ‘24 season.

Getting a QB, WRs, Nickel and Edge all in the Portal fills almost every gap on the roster sans LT. The current backup LT is Tosh Baker who is a Sr, who has done nothing at this point in his career. Big problem is quality LTs in the Portal are very rare.

This appears to be intended for the Ohio State thread, but nonetheless, it’s sad to see these types of incidents seemingly multiplying at an exponential rate in most big cities around the country. Truly an epidemic that has a foundation in poor and/or absentee parenting as well as wanton disregard for the rule of law by politicians/“leaders” and thus citizens at large.

That fills a sizable need at DE. The only positions that are legitimate? are SS (assuming Watts returns at FS) and LT. Don’t see anyway they fill LT through the Portal.

How do you feel about this AEW? I’m sure an upgrade over Parker but I wasn’t overly impressed with Denbrock at UC. Didn’t pay enough attention to ND’s offense during his first stint. Things seemed to have worked in Baton Rogue

High floor, in his late 50s, won’t be looking to leave anytime soon. It’s not the sexiest hire, but a solid one that will help build continuity on the staff.

There’s probably some younger guys that are more dynamic in their play calling and creativity, but if they’re successful, they’re only at ND for 2 seasons max.
