I like fgl although I don't own any of their music.....but I am more of a rocker. I like bands with heavy distorted guitar crunch.

Virginia, specifically Charlottesville where DMB originated, is beautiful. I'd love to live there. But in terms of quality of current music, Sufjan and James Blake are both far ahead of really anyone else on this map. The Head and the Heart are pretty awesome too.

Kentucky has it right.

Ohio has terrible taste. The Dakotas must be stuck in 2005. Vermont and New Hampshire must be pretty laid back.
