To be clear I gladly accept the description of being called PARTISAN and wear it as a badge. But I'm not a "hack" and find it amusing that the two words are so often paired.

I've known plenty of people on the opposite side of the political spectrum from myself that are clearly partisan. But they aren't hacks.

My experience has been that people throw out "partisan hack" to describe someone on an opposing ideological spectrum that they can't win an argument with.
