Missing Malaysia Airlines Plane

I saw today the Malaysian people had it on radar going 2 hours in the other direction of where they were searching. It takes some technical know how to turn off the IFF and such. Something's not right.
 
I'm convinced it was terrorism. Bad guys brake into cockpit somehow, kill both pilots, but cannot gain control of plane before it crashes into the water. That would leave a very small debris field if most of the plane were able to stay intact, which explains why they haven't found any wreckage yet. If the plane blew up while in the air it would have scattered pieces everywhere and something would have been found by now, so I don't think that happened. This theory also goes along with the stolen passport clues, as well as the recent terror attacks that have been happening in China. Maybe stealing a plane was the terrorist group's next move.

The only question is how the pilots were not able to set off an alarm or say anything to air traffic control. Very weird for a plane to just disappear like that.


Or maybe the plane landed secretly in Siberia somewhere and we are all being played like fools.

It was tracked by Malaysian military radar, they would not have transponder access, only a blip. It was in a dead zone for civilian radar that would have transponder [is a form of IFF] info. When an airliner gets to the limit of Civilian radar, they call in and report position and the est time when it comes back into a civilian radar range.
As for the cell phones still being active, surprised that FOX would not know that even if your cell phone is dead or turned off, your account is still active and still stores info.

Agree on the cell phone. Just because it rings on the end of the caller doesn't mean the call is actually making it through.
 
A news report from Australia is saying the Captain was tip top but the first officer was a scew up and had invited passengers in the past into the cockpit. His name is Fariq Abdul Hamid :Ohno:

 
The military tracking it an extra hr is weird. Makes me wonder if it wasn't hijacked and flown somewhere to be landed... Seems pretty far-fetched. Would assume we already would hear ransom if that is the case.
 
I blindly wonder if the thing didn't lose pressurization. Everyone loses conciousness, plane eventually crashes into the ocean. Kinda of a wet Payne Stewart scenario.
 
Was at a party last night and this thing came up, it is boardering on a severe cluster f. To lose a 777 jet in 2014 is insane. I must have talked to ten different people and got ten different ideas on what happened including the illuminati were involved. What is the concensus here?
 
Everybody is agreeing now that it was hijacked.The search area is something three times as large as the United States. I personally think it hijacked, and turned toward Pakistan to be used for something, but ran out of fuel in the Indian ocean somewhere.

It does sound like a plot from one of the earlier crazy Bond movies. Some power-mad billionaire builds a runway in the jungle, or even better a floating one in the ocean. This whole thing is just so bizarre.
 
I think they will be retro-fitting it for a humongous party-plane. They have party busses, and these people have an idea to do the same with a party plane.

Now, for my serious post, this is truly beyond words that it has been 10 days and they still are still really no closer to the truth of this than they were a week ago. As one of my high school history teachers would say, "It boggles the mind!"
 
Back when it was one day old everyone was saying it crashed and may never be found. I did say at that time it was hijacked and could have enough fuel to get to Asia, or even west Africa. Unbelievable that it hasn't been sent out by a terrorist group taking responsebility yet.
 
isnt tat the plane that had the beard and the big turbin on its top?? sorry ,but why would terrorists wantt to hurt malysians??? LIPS is lost on this one ??? this is why i take trains now pretty much
 
Seems like maybe this is over. The reaction from some of the family members is crazy. Did they really think they were still alive somewhere?? Bizarre.

Is it really bizarre? I don't know. Who uninvolved wasn't hoping for some outlandish explanation, where everyone was still alive? I can easily imagine myself grasping at straws if I had someone close on-board.

Usually, I wouldn't give news like this second thought being so far away but I really was starting to think it realistic that someone was able to steal the plane. Guess I got myself in a mood for a miracle. Condolences and sadness is what I honestly feel.
