For the 6th consecutive season the Mason Comets Gymnastics team is the Cincinnati City Champions. The Comets scored a 137.625 to easily defeat 2nd place Turpin by over 6 points. Gaby Sora dominated the day as she placed 1st on the Beam, Floor Ex, and Vault and of course took the All-Around as well!!

On Saturday the Mason Comets fell just short of a 4th straight District Championship as Centerville posted a 136.425 to edge Mason by .8 (135.625) for the title. Both Centerville and Mason will be participating with 10 other schools in the State Meet next Friday in Columbus. This is the 5th consecutive trip to Columbus for the Comets who finished 5th in 2013 and 4th in 2011. Good luck to the Elks and Comets and represent Southwest Ohio well!!
