What is the all time record for longest losing streak?
What schools currently have the longest in your area?
What I have according to Drew Pasteur. Did any of these get snapped last week?

Newcomerstown beat Lancaster FCA. So, a 24-game skid was snapped at the expense of furthering another team on the list’s skid to 23.

Federal Hocking snapped their 40-game skid last week to Hundred (WV.)

I’d love to see the boys celebrating on the field after snapping one of those.

I guess an equally interesting question is who is more likely either...
1. End their streak this
2. Will go 0-10 this year.

Akron North has 1 winnable game left- Westetn Reserve Academy. A team they lost to by 19 points last year. The rest were running clocks (including Kenmore Garfield)

Cincinnati Finneytown broke a 34-game losing streak early last season. However, they are still on a 38-game losing streak against OHSAA opponents. They also haven't won a conference football game since 10/3/14.

I feel bad for North. We have to pay them to come here...we feed their kids after the game. But on the field they're just awful. Could have been 100-7 last year. They didn't want to come back but we couldn't find a suitable (read: beatable) replacement so they're back for year 2.

Ledgemont High School in Geauga County should be on the list with 27 consecutive losses in the 1960s. The following article Cleveland Plain Dealer article was published in 2010, five years before Ledgemont closed its doors permanently. https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2010/11/geauga_county_communities_get.html
Here is a quote from that article:
"Then there's the forgettable streak. Before it was mercifully snapped in 1966, the Ledgemont football team had lost 27 straight games -- 83 straight sporting events, counting boys basketball, wrestling and baseball. The school had become the butt of a morning disc jockey's jokes."

I believe Sullivan Black River had a really long losing streak back in the 60's. I remember a cartoon in the Akron Beacon journal sports section after they broke the streak. 2 students are standing in front of a poster that says Victory Dance, and 1 student says to the other, What is a Victory Dance?? Not sure but it spanned many years..someone know??

Sebring looks improved, but unless they beat Mathews week 3 (a team they lost to 52-0 last year) I don’t see them getting a win.

I think Minerva will end their losing streak this year. They only lost by 6 week one against United, who went 8-2 last year.

Am I the only one who thought they were watching a youth game? Man both teams are small.
