Maury Wills died today. Age 89.

As a kid, he was the first "base stealer" that I'd ever heard of.

*In 1962 he stole 104 bases. That was more than any other entire team stole that season. The Washington Senators came in 2nd with 99.

I'm assuming this was started by a Dodger fan and there are mostly Dodger fans on here. So I'll ask for reference. Did the Dodgers have a successful season? Not a trick question, but I just want to get the vibe of the audience.

Unfortunately, I will not make my annual trip to Dodger Stadium this Summer, but the great news? Dodger Blue will be in Cleveland in August
