Yes, Trumbull County went RED on Thursday and the Health Dept and Meet Management decided to cancel.

Are there alternate sites for the Districts, Regionals and state Meet? This could throw a monkey wrench into a lot of things.
What a shame for this meet. I know there had to be a ton of planning and coordination to pull this off and then to have something like this happen last minute is upsetting.

Are round 1 football games being cancelled in Trumbull, Portage and Mahoning counties as well?

This is so silly. HS Athletic competitions are not the problem here. Feel horrible for all the meet organizers, teams, and athletes. Such a shame.

As I understand it, the meet could've been held but possibly without spectators. However, meet management decided to cancel and do what it felt was best to keep the season moving forward. Regardless, it is disappointing as it has always been a 1st class meet run by 1st class people.
