Just want to congadulate the boys basketball team on a great effort. Just remember guys, you showed that you closed the gap on them keep it up and get the job done.

to Brett Wackerly on obtaining his 1,000 point.
 
McKinley's defense was awsome and we stuck with them for two and a half quarters.

Hopefully we see McKinley next month in the finals and the third time is a charm.
 
That 12-0 (39-37 Hoover lead to 49-39 mck) run by McK late in the 3rd was too much. When they got it to a 10 pt lead I knew it was too much to overcome. If Hoover could have held it to 6 or 7 pts I think they could have pulled it off. McKinley is too good to battle back from tha kind of deficit.

Hoover definately played MUCH better the 2nd time around. Only real complaint was the missed FT's, quite a few in the 1st qtr and 4 in a row in the 4th.

Props to Wackerly on 1000, thats a great accomplishment.

Add 16 more last night and he is closing in on that scoring record.
