Laptop Screen Issue

Dropped my laptop and now I have some weird multi-color pixelation things happening in the left corner of the screen. Anyone know if that's something where I can just get a replacement screen and put it in or did I jack up the ribbon cord and have bigger problems?

Actually, just looks like some damaged pixels upon further investigation. Should be fine with a new screen

fwiw, my computer screen had a similar issue in the top right corner of the screen. I simply got a new computer because it was time anyway, but I don't think replacing the screen is real expensive.

Yeah I found them online for my model its only about $50-60 bucks

I've replaced many laptop screens in my time. A word of caution, searching for the replacement can be tricky as even within like model numbers there can be a number of different screens that were used during the production time. They are seldom compatible with each other.

Oh, believe you me, I started today off with 45 mins of break time speaking to the tech guys. They did the usual fix: 1) Clean cookies 2) Reinstall the main software. That's the go-to routine for any computer problems it seems.
