After an impressive victory at the Midwest Meet of Champions, the Lancers regained the coaches poll over elder in the enquirer, 96-93.

Also, the Lancers have taken over the top spot in the coaches poll, back from the school in Price Hill, in a very convincing fashion.

The Lancers won the district title over rival Elder, 33-48.

The Lancers were led by senior Travis Hawes who rebounded from GCL's and ran a 15:48 and won the race, closely followed in second place by Ethan Bokeno who ran a 15:52.
Remaining scoring lancers were Drew Michel(16:13) at 9th, Kevin Kluesener(16:14) at 10th, Alex Thiery(16:18) at 11th.
The Nie brothers, Matt and Marc, went 19th and 20th, with times of 16:48 and 16:54 respectively.

The big red express travels to regionals this weekend at Troy, where they hope to capture the title. They face stiff competition in teams such as Elder(again), Mason, and St. X. Good luck!
