The Wildcats (17-4) wasted no time in letting Kansas (17-3) know that playing on the road was not going to be a problem at all. The Cats led by twenty at the half and was never truly challenged in this one. Keion Brooks Jr. (Fort Wayne, Ind) led the way in the win with 27 points and 8 boards. Kentucky hit 50.8% of their shots including 6-18 from beyond the three-point line For Kansas, who looked shell-shocked after a few minutes of play Christian Braun (Burlington, KS) and Ochai Agbaji (Kansas City, MO) each had 13 points.
