kenston sectionals anyone sick afterwards?

My son wrestled at the Kenston sectionals the following Monday he was sick 102 fever<fatigue nausea ,sore throat, he was down for 10 days, missed districts and tested negative for the flu and strep wondering if anyone else ran into this problem .Thx
