A few points.
1. I’ve been around this sport, wrestler and coach, for over 20 years. The head ref in that match is one of the best, if not the best, in Southwest OH.
2. Nobody can tell from the video when the move became illegal. The ref had to adjust his position several times to get the best angle to see if there was pressure on the carotid artery. So anyone saying with certainty that this move is 100% legal is being disingenuous.
3. The coach said it was the doctor's decision for the girl not to continue. I've yet to see any retracted comments from all the people blasting the Brecksville coaching staff for "coaching" the girl not to continue. This was an absurd statement from the beginning.
