Jordan Roth???

Very good athlete. Accepted a scholorship from the University of Cincinnati Bearcats. The 2003 Bearcat media guide lists him at 6'2" - 270 as a freshman.

not very bright, and a very selfish player, im glad hes graduated as is most everyone in north canton

I didn't know him personally but alot of ppl I talked to didn't have much good to say about him, other than his abilities on the field.

You have to truly know him to pass judgement. As one of my best friends, he is a great kid with a big heart.

isnt it funny your friends with all the guys no one else in NC wants to be associated with...Andy Allman, Jordan Roth...just an interesting observation.

and yeah hes a great kid...i hope my kid grows up just like him someday and throws cheapshots below the belt, flips off the crowd after being ejected (two different incidents)...hes the pride of NC

Tiger fans

I don't blame him for flipping off the obnoxious, whiney Tiger fans. Since it looks like they are headed for Div. II pretty soon (right where they belong), I guess we will not have to put up with them anymore anyway. I have respect for Bulldog fans, but the Tiger fans (and the football team for that matter) do not deserve it.

I agree.

Massillon fans were telling me that Roth was telling Massillon fans "that his team was pulling the #1 seed choke". I responded to those clowns by telling them "Roth was just telling you (Massillon fans) that your next state title will indeed be your first one."

And how do you know nobody in NC wants to associate with them...let me guess...because you don't.....right.

And I am sure you have never made any mistakes in your life right buddy. Yeah.....Just an Observation

i saw him today and talked to him a bit and he seems to have really learned alot down in cincy, hes gotten alot more mature and he looks like a train, says his bench is around 400 now

I know Jordan and wish to add my two cents. I find him to be a very nice young man. He has always been very polite to me and the rest of my family. I agree with the above post about his maturity level since being at Cincy. From what I hear he has handled himself extremely well down there this past year. I know that his attention to his studies has also changed and he was very close to making the Deans list. In talking with him, he seems very focused and very excited about this football season and really likes the new coach Dantonio! God bless Mr. Roth - he's truly a young man who wants to better himself. You would know that and appreciate that if you really did know him!

I do blame him!!! As a Hoover alum, I'm embarassed that a kid from my school would do something as obnoxious and self serving as flip off" anyone in a public forum like that.

Many Hoover people have an attitude that we are better than the other area schools. Maybe we are and maybe we aren't, but actions like his....and even worse, defending actions like his only show us to be cocky and arrogant.

roth may have seemed out of control in high school, but thats because he was a lot bigger then everyone else, now at cincy he is the small guy and has gotten better

For alot of you....you dont know Jordan like I do. yes his atitude can be problem at times...but at heart, hes nothing but a good kid. You sit here and talk about him flippin off the massilon crowd...GET OVER IT!! it happened...what...like 2 years ago! The "alum" say they are embarrassed....what's it to you...it wasnt you that did it...or he wasnt your son, so let it go! No one ever hears about the good stuff he does. After the massilon incident, he wrote a letter of apology and personally drove it over to massilon. Bet ya didnt hear about that...did ya? The "shot below the belt"....are we STILL talking about this?? It happened when he was a junior if i remember correctly....hes now a soph. in college...ya forget it! and who are u to say no one wants to associate with Alleman or Roth? Just because you dont-- doesnt make you everybody. Most of you people I would like to thank...thank you for makin my brother the center of your world!:D This just proves you obviously have nothing better to do than bring up things from the past. Get a life and stop worrying about people who have already graduated!!!

How is Jordan doing at Cincy? I heard he's had some playing time.

Does anyone know about Allman? I hear he is no longer at Pitt. Is that true and why?

Hes doing awesome actually! he really likes his new coach. he has had some playing time and hes lookin good out there. Its hard to get his games out here though in Nebraska. Yeah Alleman goes to akron now...hes tranfered there to play football for them...im not really sure why but thats was jordan was tellin me

Just to update any of you who don't know...Jordon is in one of my classes at UC and now has a knee injury that apparently happened during practice. I am not sure of specific details.

Just saw him yesterday at the high school and he is done with football. It sounds like he is doing really well in school.

I actually thought him flipping off the Massillon fans was pretty funny, and in the grand scheme of things, is a molecule compared to what I've seen Massillon players and fans do, and are capable of doing. I flipped them off too. I wish him the best of luck in life.

what the heck are you talking about. im not sayin he is a bad kid, but that was just wrong what he did. i don't care what the fans are saying, coach hertler teaches the football team to not react to fans like the massilion fans. he made the football team look horrible that night. he is not the pride of nc if anything he was an embaressment. if you want your kid to grow up and do that stuff hertler is gonna have some serious problems with you.
