rumor has it that hes transferring to northwest and the end of the semester, in my opinion its not that big of a loss because they still have strong lb's in kyle robbins and kevin dahl, i just dont understand why he would want to leave, if its because of last season then it shows hes not a leader because last season is over and this is his senior year, its like saying, we are going to be bad again and i cant change that so im leaving
 
 
I have not spoken to him, but I do know that he has an Uncle that coaches at NW.
If he wants to go......goodluck to him and bye.

We have had guys leave before, someone else will step up and fill the spot.
 
I have also heard this rumor. Unbelievable. How could a kid who grew up in this system with his buddies want to play elsewhere his senior year. I know he has an uncle who coaches and a cousin who plays over there, but I just can't comprehend this. I'm sure there are other factors that I am not aware of, but still I could never imagine doing something like this.
 
From what I have heard, this is a family decision that deals with his little sister. I also heard that john wants to stay at Hoover but it is out of his control. He has a great family and that is more important than HS Football.

Good Luck John, I enjoyed watching you over the last 7 years.
 
I don't know the rules, but you'd think there would be a way for him to finish his high school career at Hoover. Viking51 is right though, family comes first.
