Common sense really has disappeared. Student Visa, Enrolled and participating in online college courses because thats how the school will be operating should be considered meeting the requirements during the current situation. Even if it is just for next school yr and then see how things play out.

Why was the rule always on place? Looking at bigger picture- there was a reason student visas were only valid for on campus learning. Think about why a student visa would not be issued to anyone who was taking classes solely online with no interpersonal interaction with anyone at the institution. It’s a valid law that has been in place for a long time to protect this country from those who may take advantage of pretending to be a student. There was flexibility given for the remainder of the spring term into summer, but now with less than 2 months until classes begin they are realizing it can’t go unenforced for a whole year with the student visas being manipulated for other purposes.

I'm curious to see how some schools that are declaring they will be going mostly/entirely online will inevitably try to maneuver around this.

He knew damn well that this was shaky, but all he has at this point is his ridiculous base that loves everything he does and he knew this would be looked at by the cult as 'America First bullchit " and he could hear and read some praise from Jim Bob and other rednecks who love this kind of chit. It was just a mean stupid thing to do that helps this country in o way whatsoever .{ International students spend money here , some have lots of it } It was just to show his $ hole base how mean he could be to the foreigners they hate .

You tell me what the problem was.
So you are in favor of terrorism through students arriving from foriegn countries who can wonder through the nation with no accountability for their geographical location? Your part of the problem here. Trump will get hammered by the left for allowing terrorists into the country the first time a group of these "college kids" blow something up. Terrorism is not dead, we should not allow foreign students in to America who have no essential need to be here.
