Hoover vs Louisville

The early games are over. Now we start the meat of the schedule. After last year's loss at Louisville, is the team going to be ready for four quarters of tough football against the Louisville team?

I think they are....i think this game against louisville will really show us how good we are going to be. I think the boys looked great friday flying around and didnt look to tired. But it will be a great test for them. GO GET THEM VIKES

This game will be interesting. I think if Hoover gets the running game going, this will be a 2+td win. A key with Louisville will be their ability to get a running game going, in which they struggled mightily with Lake (esp. since they don't snap under center).

I would like to see another TD from the special teams or defense.

30-14 is my prediction

I try not to be too optimistic before we play any team, but I think you might be spot on with your prediction Levi.

We need to see how we play during FOUR quarters, which we have not had to do yet this season.

Looks like plenty of comments and posts regarding this game on Yappi football. Check it out!

GO VIKES!

Hoover 24 - Louisville 0

Supposedly, a few years ago, there was a question as to whether Hoover would continue to schedule Louisville in football anymore. The series was renewed for 4 years, but I think that contract is set to expire after next year (maybe after this year). Will Hoover continue to play Louisville in football?

The powers that be still think this is a rivalry game so I think it stays on the schedule...the students just don't get it...their rival is Jackson. Of course, everyone thinks of Hoover as its rival. I'd rather see Louisville off the schedule but do not want to see them schedule anymore DC teams in their place.
Let's play some teams from suburban Akron (Green, Barberton, Tallmadge, Hudson, etc.), or the Akron City Series (Buchtel, Ellet, Garfield).

Why do you want Louisville off the schedule? If Louisville weren't competitive, then I'd understand. If/when Hoover does beat Louisville, the Vikings assured a good chunk of points.
