IMHO - I expect the team to do very well. This may be one of the quickest teams we've had in a while. Last year's team saw plenty of underclassmen contribute greatly to the success of the team. We have the nucleus and potential to be even better this year. It all comes down to senior leadership. Will this year's seniors be up to the task? I would say yes! Plenty of positions are in competition. OL & DE most apparent.

Will see. I'd expect AT LEAST a 7-3 regular season. But 8-2 and 9-1 are definitely not out of reach. Maybe if things go our way 10-0 but that would be a stretch.
 
Who's penciled in at RB?
Philip Howard
Blaine Maze or
Kevin Dahl
I'd rather see Maze...he's bigger than Howard and a bit faster. And, Kevin wouldn't have to play both ways.
 
Hoover has a number of pretty good tailbacks this year. I have heard that the coaching staff is pretty high on Howard. My guess is that we will see 2 or more guys seeing time at tailback. I agree that it would be a good thing if Dahl only had to go on D.

Howard is actually bigger then Maze..yes maze is taller but Howard is still 5'10 and is very solid and still has 4.5 speed i really think its going to be howard as the starter but as of right now its to soon to say
 
Hoover is blessed with several players that can contribute at the RB position. Having watched Phillip Howard a few times last year, I was very impressed. He has great vision and instincts. Whoever carries the rock this year will be worth watching.
