To make this list, we are taking the top 16 running backs based on career rushing yards.

But in my lifetime...which includes most of the list...the best of my time was Eric erson. Amazing. However, the best I ever saw on a per season basis was the first few years of Earl Campbell. Jeez...he was a wrecking ball!
