Good first scrimmage....What does everyone think about friday??

i thought the vikes did well for their first scrimmage. The offensive line did much better than i thought they would. Wackerly did well, the defense wasnt to bad. Not to bad vikes good start.

But now friday bigger guys and better teams. Anyone want to make some predictions...

This will be a better test for us. Mentor and Harding will give you different looks than what saw against Ashland.

Can't be certain, but I believe two sophomores saw playing time with the first unit. They were, Dom Boyle (OG) who played the entire time; and Jeff Meeks (DB) who saw limited action.

Starters from last year who did not play were: Scott Gnau (OLB/RB), Kevin Dahl (OLB/RB), Matt Wakulchik (DB/WR) and James Georgiades (DT/FB)

The team looked good. Mentor & Warren Harding will pose a greater challenge.

Also, the sophmore DB is Jeff Meek(not Meeks). Just trying to clean that up.

He's a very qucik back but I think we can contain him with our strong defensive presence.Also Herron's older brother is the starting OLB at Michigan State.
