The first quarter would see a 15 yard run from,Cole Wallace of the Vikings as the biggest offensive play. That play took place with 3:45 left in the quarter. With 2:56 left Wallace was hit and dropped by a host of Red Devils, with #56 Eligh Abdon leading the way.
The final big defensive play came at the 2:26 mark of the quarter, when Zeke Ferguson of the Vikings fumbled the ball and making the recovery for the Red Devils was Jackson Doak.

The scoreboard read 1:50 left, with Rowan County on their own 30 yard line, facing a fourth and 1. The coaching staff elected to go for it and that gamble, was a big defeat when 58 Anthony Blevins stuffed the runner for a short loss.
On the very next play, six seconds later Reed Galloway was wide opened and hauled in a 31 yard touchdown pass. The point after from Gabe Floyd gave the home team, a 7-6 lead. The tiny crowd from Rowan County set in stone silence wondering what just happened.
The Vikings still had 1:44 left to try and get the tying score, but with :12 second left Galloway again came up huge, when he did his best Rob Kelly(Former Ohio State star) picking off the pass and taking it all the way for a 60 yard (or so) pick six.
