How are things looking with the Wildcats ? Who should be the Favorites in both divisions this season? Who are the players to watch?
 
 
Don't expect much from Oakwood this year. After going 2-21 last season, the second year coach has decided to make spring break an optional week of practice. He is going on spring break with his family and won't be in town. The assistant coach will be running practices for any player who is in town that week.

Feel bad for the kids who care about baseball. There is/was enough talent to be successful this year and last year. AD is good with this.

I can't express how I feel about this. Prior to the new coach Oakwood won or shared the league title 3 years in a row. Program is in a tailspin.
 
I have heard of other school districts that allow their players to go on spring break and miss 7-10 days of an already short HS season without repercussions, but that would be the first time I have heard of the head coach leaving. WOW!
