Just to be clear, the daily total they report are a "change" in the number of reported deaths. The actual date of death chart is very different as they can go back as far as almost two months to assign a date of death. For example, two of today's reported deaths were from April 27th.
The last 10 days can change significantly. Our peak for deaths was the week of April 22nd to April 28th (averaged 48.6 deaths per day that week). It is unfortunate that it takes so long to report these deaths because it is making people fearful that there is a surge happening when the data can be weeks or even months old.
