Orangeman is right, kuddos to Fisher for starting with the youth leagues to build Ellet back up, it is going to take that long!

Ellet lost a lot of talent because no one paid attention to the youth and hyre kids....Fisher has changed all that this year...be patient, good things will come in a few years! If you went to a Hyre game or youth game you would see a lot of potential, and I saw fisher there working with them and talking to parents. lets hope he can convince them to stay in Ellet.

Malinowski and Blasdel didn't just leave the cupboard bare, the whole kitchen had to be gutted!

Talked to Fisher at a reverse raffle Sat. nite, he is very excited about his younger players. Wishes he had more size right now, hopes to find some in the future.

No he is a Junior, And im pretty sure he would Start at east or BUCHTEL seeing that the kid is 6'0/6'1 and wins the tip ball every night against guys that are 6'5 and taller. HE can jump with anyone on the city.

Ellet has only two ballhandlers (Smith and Malone) and they have zero height.
What's their tallest player? 6'2"? They've played better on a whole than their 3-11 record would indicate, definitely better than the last several years. They don't have the size or depth, especially to compete in the City Series this year.
Walsh plays where he does because he and Malone are the only scoring options. There is only so much you can do with what you have.

Plenty of talent down the road but Fisher is still going to have to find a couple big men. Be very excited about the freshman class! Fisher's biggest job is going to be keeping them home.

Kudos to Fisher too for taking control and adding organization to the youth program. The creation of three travel teams to play against better competition was a smart move.

He was getting his "lunch" handed to him on defense?? He is there 2nd best defensive player after Ernest Smith.. Flat out the kid can do it all shoot,dribble,jump,play defense, But his attitude sucks! Flat out.

Orangeman14....not sure who you are, but you obviously have a problem with the truth.... Brandon Tucker is a senior...Again...there are 2 seniors....Earnest Smith and Brandon Tucker....if you truely had seen his transcripts, you would know that!!!! Also...who the ---- are you to be looking a someone elses transcript??????

Nice win against North on Friday....where was Tucker Orangeman14....the senior didn't play....

Well, he could be a senior eligibility-wise, but only a junior academically. So technically, you both could be right. Now, maybe you 2 can go back to playing nice!

I wouldnt have a clue where he was.. Maybe ill? I've heard the kid has trouble in school far as staying out of trouble. Benched maybe?

He's A junior.. they made the mistake of him as a senior. He has enough credits to be one. But his graduation year is 2012
 
Nope,he is off the team,grades came out... He is ineligable.

That is too bad! He was a good player. Not so good he would start for Buchtel or East, but good for Ellet!

I hear a few more are ineligiable as well. I know Forest Fisher is one, anyone know who else?
 
Was it you Pride who said the lower classmen were not that good this year? Well I:rainbow: just watched the Freshmen team win tonight giving them the best record in the city this year!!!!! I would say they have some talent!!!! Good things are coming to Ellet Basketball in the next few years!
 
I haven't seen the freshman play. I did see the JV play and it had several of the freshman on there and I would say that they aren't as good as some may say.

Remember, freshman wins mean absolutely NOTHING when it comes to future play.

How many good freshman in the city do you think play on JV and Varsity squads? A LOT. So you can't judge anything when it comes to freshman ball.
 
Why are these hoopers for Ellet's JV and Freshmen teams not playing on the varsity right now if they are so freaking good? Screw the 'next year' crap, win now! I bet they wouldn't do any freaking worse than the team is now, plus, they are getting varsity experience!

"The Orangemen had just one senior on their roster this season." - direct from sportsink. Enough Proof Brandon Tucker is not a senior?
 
Orangeman 14.....if you are talking about the new roster for the Copley tournament....which I believe you are...Brandon tucker is not on it because he was kicked off the team weeks ago because he didn't make grades. Earnest is the only senior now....WRONG INFO AGAIN ORANGEMAN 14
