Doesn’t change the fact that on the critical play of the game a white ref made game clinching call
Doesn’t change the fact that RB made enough mistakes to put the game in the hands of the ref. Doesn’t change the fact that the single snapshot only shows the player in bounds but does not show control. Quit reaching and quit making this into something more than it is.
Even if the ref made a bad call you have no clue that it’s race based. Even if the ref made a bad call, RB made enough mistakes in the game that you can’t put it all on the ref

This feels like an episode of the Brady Bunch or something... where's Greg with his camera when you need him? =)

Great game by both teams. Both had their chances to take it out of the referee's control, and didn't. Just a shame that it came to that. Great season, Roger Bacon! Well played!

Pictures don’t lie, major bias against inner city schools by these refs all over the country. Will take any chance they get to screw the minorities

Roger Bacon is a private school. Diverse, but private. While there’s some pretty solid evidence on a missed call (referee not signaling a lack of control, but instead out of the field of play when catch was made; video on Twitter where the kid has one, maybe two feet in), it was not race-based. Move on. That’s coming from a fan.

Didn’t valley view get screwed when it was 3rd and goal and RB got called for. Face mask and they kept it 3rd down. Shouldn’t it been a 1st?

Not if it was an incidental FM foul (penalty of 5 yards and line to gain was +5 yds) and particularly since it was goal to go.

Facemask isn’t an automatic 1st, considering there was no 1st to gain. Penalties are one thing anyhow. There were questionable holding calls, but no one is crying about penalties. But again it doesn’t matter. You guys won, and congrats to you. Don’t let the bad posters take that away from y’all.

This was a great game, missed calls happen all the time and that was unfortunate but that doesn’t take away from the fact this was a great game with two very very good programs. Kiner is absolutely the best RB in Ohio. Valley View did what they had to do (especially in the first half) to keep the ball out of his hands. Looking forward to playing in the future

Unless you have X-ray vision, you cannot see the ball in the picture.

Nobody can tell for sure if the ball moves immediately after this split second shot and nobody can tell for sure if the official kicked the crap out of the call.

But I'm sure there will be dozens with the same view as the official (and some even closer) ;)

The ref called the WR out of bounds. He did not say he was bobbling the ball.
