District Semi-Final Locations

Were district locations always neutral or only recently they have not been and continue to be at the higher seed. Or is it district specific? AKA, not OHSAA rules, they make their own rules. - thx for any input.

I believe the high schools bid for the right to host the tournament games. Since the teams can pick their placement in the tournament, it can be easy to choose the bracket with their field

Really? Princeton’s turf is old and run down and hard as a rock. It’s also very narrow. One of the most narrow fields. I know it’s pretty neutral and holds a lot of fans.. but not the best of surfaces and width for big games.
