He looks like a very solid Divison-II player, he would be borderline-fringe for a Division I-AA player, he could probably play for an Ivy League school or an academic type I-AA school if he has really good grades and test scores.

Heard he is a 4.0 student.

I don't think West Branch would have fared much better. Region 13 was not good. They blew through most of 14 and that region was loaded. VW gunna be the toughest test they have this postseason. I think that's only because the weather and turnovers

Jefferson accomplished as much(really way more) than can be reasonably expected. Can’t imagine anyone is surprised by this.

EXACTLY. Lost in all the giggles of the last two days re: Jefferson is that, in reality, this group was one of the last 4 of 105 D IV schools playing. No small feat.
This is the kinda stuff these players can tell their own kids down the road, "...back in the day, there were only TWENTY FIVE of us, and let dad tell ya this crazy story" Yep, I think it was a great season indeed for the Falcons

Thankfully the weather only hurt Glenville and not Van Wert.

That makes me like #4 even more!!! He was very fast!!! Don’t know if he ran track?? Gravely #15 is a State Championship track runner, and #4 ran him out of bounds with another kid to stop him! He didn’t look that fast on film, but in person he was fast!!! Jefferson had a great season and they were nice and tough kids!! And also you could tell that they hit the weights and so did Van Wert!!! Great season to both of them!!!

I think West Branch wouldn't have stopped Glenville either but would have scored more points, they still lose but lose like 56 to 28.

I didn't think the weather hurt van wert that much. Without the turnovers though glenville would have scored almost every possession like they have done to almost every d4 team.

I watched that game and I figured van wert's discipline would keep them around regardless of weather.

Correct they have moved the ball at will against every d4 team in the playoffs

Congrats to Jefferson on a great season... Enjoy that Regional title they do not come around very often for the Rural public schools like us.. It sucks it had to end like that but you will eventually be able to go back and look at the amazing ride that Hitchcock took you on. Glenville is just a complete different monster at the D4 level... Good Luck to Hitchcock at the next level!
