I'm sure there are a lot of what ifs on the Lake bus ride home. They absolutely had the game in their hands and let it slip away.
 
This may have been the best game of the weekend ( yes, i'm bias). Congrats to VW they made the plays they needed to down the stretch. IMO Lake's special teams killed them. Allowing short fields constantly to an offense like VW is a recipe for disaster. The LC defense held on as long as they could but in the end it wasn't enough. I do agree Lake offense in the second half played not to lose rather than go out and win it. But running the football with their QB is what LC does. They did it all year. I understand the thought process of do what got you there. Congrats to both teams on successful season.

Side note: LC's QB #4 is an absolute stud. What a great football player.
