Good Afternoon!
I know there has been talk of opening our rooms - this is another opportunity.
I am sharing an information sheet about the FS/GR Club at Mason HS that begins in a few weeks. The information sheet includes directions, info, calendar, the sign-up info and a flier to share.
Last season we had over 75 members grades 6-12 both male and female. This season we will offer separate clubs - this email is in reference to males grades 6-12 only. The club had wrestlers from many surrounding schools and provided a structured practice 2x a week and a 3rd day w/ an open mat format. The open mat is open to ANYONE w/ a USA Wrestling Card.
In addition to the structured practices, we are also hosting college athletes/coaches as a part of the club. Our first clinician is Logan Stieber, who will be running a clinic on 4/8. We are working on a date Kollin Moore and a few other guest clinicians to host in the room as well for this Spring.
We are hoping to continue to grow the club and be a beacon in the Cincy/Dayton area. We are conveniently located either off of 75 or 71 and only 30 minutes away from anywhere in the tristate.
Bo Touris will once again be leading the program. Many know his accolades but for those that don't... He was a State Champ, Fargo Champ and multiple time AA. He competed collegiately for Ohio State.
Other coaches in the room include Tony Johnson (Multiple time State Placer/Champ, Senior Nationals Champ, Current MMA Fighter), Wayne Black (D3 AA at MSJ) & the Mason Wrestling Coaching Staff
If you currently run your own team and are interested in a FS/GR dual - reach out. We ran 3 separate events last season with a lot of success - we plan to double that this Spring. We are also willing to travel to compete.
