Congratulations to Erick for winning Mr. Football. It is well deserved and he is only the 2nd junior ever to win this award.

He has done a lot to turn his life around and I commend him for that. He still has some work to do and I am sure he will do what he needs to do to get where he wants to be.

One last thing just in case erick is reading this:

Absolutely deserving of the award. Great to see statewide recognition for Erick. Donnie has balanced his offensive in the past but really relied on Erick and the o-line to grind out first downs and clock this year. Every team knew what was coming but were just wore down with the physical nature of Erick's running and the offensive line. Loved it when Hoover went three tight end with a fullback set and said try and stop us.
Great coaching job by Donnie as well this year.
