The last I heard was that Conant was still rehabbing from his injury and getting himself ready for his frosh year at Arizona State. If I am not mistaken, the fracture that he had required a fairly lengthy time of immobilization and rest.

Hopefully Conant makes a full recovery and makes an impact as a Sun Devil. He's one of the most talented runners in recent history to come out of Ohio.

Smith began running pain free with orthotics two weeks ago. In addition to his foot injury ( stress fracture), he also suffered from Henoch-Schonlein Purpura. This condition caused a severe rash on both feet and inflammation of blood vessels, rendering him also unable to swim, bike or lift for six months.
